Our story
Choubidou Café started with a craving… for crêpes, coffee, and a touch of French charm in Burleigh.
“Choubidou” (shoo-bee-doo) is a playful French term of endearment, similar to “my darling” or “sweetheart,” and perfectly captures the warm, welcoming spirit behind our café.
We dreamed up a space that feels cosy, a little cheeky, and full of life - where you can drop in for a quick coffee or stay all morning with friends. With crêpes, omelettes, and sweet bites at the heart of it all, Choubidou is our love letter to French café culture, with a local twist.
